OPENPLAY LEGAL
Terms of Use
Effective July 10, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of OpenPlay, a website and directory operated by Reunion Technologies, LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“Reunion,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using OpenPlay (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
2. What OpenPlay provides
OpenPlay helps users discover pickleball open-play sessions and links to the venue or booking provider where users can review details and, when available, register. Listings may be compiled from public, provider-authorized, or venue-authorized schedules.
OpenPlay is not a venue, sports facility, event organizer, booking provider, instructor, health professional, transportation provider, or party to any transaction between you and a third party.
2A. Optional accounts
Players may create an optional password-free account to save a preferred market. An account is not required to browse listings. You are responsible for maintaining access to your sign-in email and for the activity associated with your account.
2B. Venue-manager accounts, claims, and content
Venue owners, managers, and authorized staff may create an account, request control of a facility page, and submit facility information. You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in link and account secure, and claim or edit a venue only when you are authorized to act for it. We may verify, approve, reject, suspend, transfer, or revoke a claim to protect venues, users, and the integrity of the directory.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Reunion a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate, market, and improve OpenPlay. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide the content, including facility photos, logos, descriptions, and contact information. We may edit or remove content that is inaccurate, unlawful, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate for the Service.
3. Listings may change
Event times, prices, availability, eligibility, skill classifications, locations, amenities, and other details can change or be delayed, incomplete, inferred, or inaccurate. Distance and skill information may be estimates. You are responsible for confirming all material details directly with the venue or booking provider before traveling, registering, or paying.
Provider and venue names are used to identify listing sources. Their appearance does not by itself mean that they sponsor, endorse, or are affiliated with OpenPlay or Reunion.
4. Third-party services and transactions
When you follow a link from OpenPlay, you are leaving the Service. Your use of a venue or booking provider is governed by that third party’s terms, privacy notice, eligibility requirements, waivers, cancellation and refund rules, and other policies. OpenPlay does not receive or control your registration or payment and is not responsible for a third party’s acts, omissions, content, availability, security, goods, or services.
5. Participation and safety
Pickleball, travel, and participation at sports facilities involve inherent risks of injury and property loss. OpenPlay does not inspect, supervise, certify, or control listed facilities, events, participants, instructors, equipment, conditions, or safety practices. You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you, complying with venue rules, using suitable equipment, and seeking professional medical advice where appropriate.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not:
- interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
- attempt to bypass access, security, or rate-limit controls;
- introduce malicious code or use the Service for fraud or abuse;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation with another party;
- violate applicable law or another party’s rights; or
- use automated means to extract or access the Service at scale without our prior written permission.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, original text, graphics, and OpenPlay branding, is owned by Reunion or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.
Third-party names, marks, and content belong to their respective owners. If you believe material on OpenPlay violates your rights, email support@tryreunion.com with enough information for us to identify and evaluate the material.
8. Feedback and corrections
You may report a correction or suggest a venue by contacting us. You grant Reunion permission to use suggestions and feedback without restriction or compensation. You represent that information you submit is accurate and that you have the right to provide it.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” REUNION DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND SECURITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR ANY LISTING WILL BE COMPLETE, CURRENT, ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR NEEDS.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REUNION AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, A LISTING, A THIRD-PARTY SERVICE, OR YOUR PARTICIPATION IN AN EVENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THEIR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). THESE LIMITATIONS DO NOT APPLY WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED OR EXCLUDED.
11. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Reunion and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from third-party claims, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another party’s rights.
12. Changes, suspension, and termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, Reunion, or third parties, or to address a violation of these Terms. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and effective date. Additional notice will be provided when required by law.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be waived, disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally.
14. General terms
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale. These Terms and the OpenPlay Privacy Notice are the entire agreement between you and Reunion concerning the Service.
